Important: CompTIA SecurityPlus is an independent, unofficial study resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to CompTIA, Inc. in any way. 4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
To access the full features of the Site, you must create an account using either an email address and password or Google OAuth through Supabase Authentication. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4.3 One Account Per User
Each user should maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the service or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for its intended purpose of studying for the CompTIA Security+ certification. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any associated databases.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract content or data from the Site.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the practice questions, answers, or explanations from the Site without written permission.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.

6. Intellectual Property

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license does not include the right to:
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the Site's content.
- Use the content for commercial purposes or in any competing product or service.
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the content.
7. User-Generated Content
When you submit content to the Site (such as notes or question feedback), you retain ownership of that content. However, by submitting question feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback to improve the platform's question quality and user experience.
Personal notes are private to your account and will not be shared with other users or third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, including practice questions and explanations.
- In no event shall CompTIA SecurityPlus, ICTLAB, or Caner Korkut be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or failure to pass the Security+ exam, arising from your use of the Site.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, which is zero, as this is a free service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CompTIA SecurityPlus, ICTLAB, Caner Korkut, and any affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Site at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Abusive or harmful behavior
- Scraping or unauthorized data extraction
- Any activity that threatens the integrity of the Site
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.

We strive to keep the Site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
